This teaching manual contains all the lessons plans and resources needed to teach Phase 2 letters and sounds using our All Aboard Phonics programme.
Phase 2 covers the first steps in learning grapheme to phoneme correspondences (GPCs). Ideally the children starting to work through these lessons will have been introduced to onset sounds and rhymes already, although that is not totally essential. Phase 2 mainly focuses on CVC words with occasional two-syllable words introduced for exposure and added challenge.
